Author's notes

Each of Key One Yeom's novels comes with an author's note: how the book was written, what it is about, and what he hid in it. They are translated here in full from the Korean. In The Ghosts of Daehak-ro the note is a prologue that opens the book, and it doubles as his own account of the years before fiction.
